AFC Division Finish Betting Predictions Lamar Jackson Baltimore Ravens

If you find yourself in the same boat as I am, the flood of NFL futures betting odds is likely giving you a buzz. No complaints here; a little excitement is enjoyable!

As long as these betting odds bring you some joy during the regular season, they serve their purpose. Earning some cash is just an added perk.

That said, the top bets I’m presenting today highlight significant chances for success. These are among my preferred odds and forecasts as we navigate the NFL futures betting landscape.

We have odds tailored for optimal bets regarding AFC Division Finishing Position. Essentially, each team has different betting lines available for finishing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th within their divisions.

As you can predict, some divisions are less appealing than others, and certain finishing spots like 2nd or 3rd are best avoided. Today’s selections for AFC division finishing positions will dodge those categories altogether.

The AFC East presents a tough competition, led by the Buffalo Bills, who are over 3-1 favorites to clinch the title, while I don’t foresee any of the other three teams reaching playoff contention.

In the western division, rather than nitpick at the top, it’s more insightful to assess the lower-tier teams, where we might uncover our best bets for AFC division placements.

The AFC South showcases a similar scenario as the West. While I have some faith in the Houston Texans, it’s hard to be overly optimistic. Their defense, however, is impressive.

Top AFC Bets for Division Finishing Position

Baltimore Ravens AFC North 1st Place: -160

I aimed to avoid paying significant juice before the season kicks off. Nevertheless, if you’re leaning toward this wager, it’s tough to dispute the stability and professionalism of a team like the Baltimore Ravens.

They’ve secured the AFC North title four times in the last seven years, including the last two seasons. The team isn’t losing any significant players, and though Joe Burrow may seek revenge, the Bengals haven’t made notable improvements defensively. Toss in the possibility of losing Trey Hendrickson to a trade, and their odds appear even weaker.

The Steelers’ addition of Aaron Rodgers is intriguing, but let’s be real; he’s nearing 42. They’ve also lost their top wide receiver but acquired D.K. Metcalf. However, there’s a reason the Seahawks moved on; he’s lost a step and isn’t creating separation like he used to.

Place a wager on the Ravens, but hold back the bulk of your cash for the next two top selections for AFC division finishing positions.

Tennessee Titans AFC South 4th Place: +125

The Tennessee Titans held the first overall pick in the draft, and I believe they made the right choice in Cameron Ward. Yet as a rookie starter, we can expect some challenges from the former Miami Hurricane.

The only other contender for the last spot in the AFC South appears to be the Jacksonville Jaguars. With a healthy Trevor Lawrence and an upgraded offensive line, their offense is set to be more dynamic in 2025. They’ve also added two-way rookie Travis Hunter and bolstered their defense with three returning cornerbacks.

The Titans boast a solid pass defense, but they lack the necessary weapons and experience under center to maintain leads into the latter halves of games.

The Texans are too skilled, and the Colts are too well-coached to sink to 4th place.

Las Vegas Raiders AFC West 4th Place: -130

I’ve saved the most compelling prediction for last! Convince me how the Raiders can outperform the Chiefs, Broncos, or Chargers. I’d love to hear your reasoning. Unless Maxx Crosby starts playing both ways, I cannot envision them doing so.

Could the Raiders become a more competitive team under Pete Carroll’s leadership? It’s tough to argue against that. Does rookie Ashton Jeanty enhance their running game? Almost certainly.

However, the competition is fierce. This division is now the most formidable in football. The Broncos are entering their second season with Bo Nix and their third under head coach Sean Payton, with a stacked defense.

The LA Chargers are finally strengthening their depth at wide receiver, and they boasted the top scoring defense in 2024.

To be clear, I’d enjoy seeing the Chiefs finish last, but let’s be realistic. I’m placing my bets on the Raiders once again taking the bottom spot in the AFC West this season.
